The Chrysler brand is known for its unique designs, innovative technology, and craftsmanship. The company was founded in 1925. Chrysler 300 lineup provides luxurious, iconic, and exquisite design. The lineup exhibits outstanding performance and efficiency with top-class quality. It can be considered one of the most popular automakers.


Chrysler 300 has over a 70-year legacy in the automobile world. It can truly be considered to be a legend in the automotive world. Its origins have the revolutionary 1955 and 2005 models. The Chrysler 300 defines the bold style and outstanding performance for over 70 years. A brief history of the 70 years legacy of the Chrysler 300 is described.


The 1950s



Chrysler 300 was introduced in 1955. It had a HEMI V-8 with solid valve lifters producing a horsepower of 300. It had four-barrel carburetors. It can be considered one of the most powerful full-size cars even coming above NASCAR. In 1957, the HEMI was upgraded to 392 cubic inches producing a horsepower of 375. Chrysler set a land speed record at 156 mph in 1958. Chrysler 300E came around in 1959.


The 1960s



Chrysler 300F, 300G, and 300H came around in 1960, 1961, and 1962 respectively. Then came the iconic 300J and later on 300K debuted in 1964. Lastly 300 letter series car,300L was debuted. The production of the non-letter series 300S was continued in the year 1965.


The 1990s



300 nameplate has been brought back to the Chrysler lineup in 1999 with the introduction of 300M.

The 2000s


In 2005, Chrysler 300 series came back with rear-wheel drive. It had a 5.7-liter HEMI powered 300C model that prices a horsepower of 345. Then further improving the performance Chrysler 300C SRT8 has a 6.1-liter HEMI engine that can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. More than 300 models after 2005 have all-wheel drive systems.

The 2010s



In 2014 Chrysler 300 SRT came up with a HEMI V8 which produced a horsepower of 470 and a torque of 470 lb-ft. It had a capacity of 6.4. The new model debuted in 2015 and had a bold nameplate and a really sophisticated style.


The 2020s

In 2023 Chrysler 300C came with a 6.4L HEMI engine that produces a horsepower of 485.




2023 Chrysler 300c



The new 2023 Chrysler 300c model is right here. It is a full-size sedan. Its current form was introduced back in 2011. It gives off savage and classy vibes. The interior of the car is spacious and comfortable. It is not as fuel efficient as its competitors. It is still a good option for a full-size sedan. It has a huge bold design with a striking exterior and delivers a powerful performance.



Engine and Performance



Chrysler 300 has magnificent performance and efficiency. It is a rear-wheel drive with Hemi V-8 engines. All-wheel drive is optional with a standard 3.6 liter 292 hp V6 engine. During the testing, the rear-wheel drive V6 power reached 60mph in 6.3 seconds. The 5.7-liter V-8 power reached it in 5.3 seconds. The body roll is well controlled. The model is relatively tougher as it has a stiffer suspension along with the 20-inch wheels. So if you're looking for something comfortable go for touring or touring L.


Only 2000 of its units will be delivered in the US while 200 will be offered in Canada.


The 6.4 liter V-8 HEMI engine generates 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. 300C can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The 2023 Chrysler 300 can cover the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph.

The engine is paired with the TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission that maximizes the fuel economy while providing optimized performance with 160-millisecond shifts. It also comes along with the red four-piston Brembo brakes, active damping suspension, a 3.09 limited-slip differential, and rounded black exhaust tips that give off a strong muscular sound.



Striking Exterior



The new 2023 Chrysler 300c model has a striking exterior. The new iteration of the tri-color 300C badge dresses up the cover of the car on the grille and rear decklid. The 300c model has 20 by 9-inch forged wheels with all-season performance tires. The exterior also has black chrome accents on the grille with the lower fascia, taillamp bezels, and a black headlamp. Three exterior colors are available for 300c that are velvet red, gloss black, and bright white.



Comfortable Interior



The 300s entry level is touring and it has cloth seats along with certain amenities. The touring L and the 300s have additional features that include power-adjustable front seats with heat. It has adjustable lumbar support along with some other features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate change, rear cupholders, and leather seats. It is also equipped with a standard 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system. The interior also has a carbon fiber accent.

The new 20234 Chrysler 300c model also uses soft-touch rubberized plastic. It has a leather grain pattern that wraps the upper door panels and dashboard. The texture is pleasant although a bit artificial. The car fits six carry-on boxes in the trunk. It can swallow around 10 when the rear seats are folded. The seats are split in a 60/40 arrangement. They are not folded fully in a flat manner.

The black Laguna leather front seats have a 300c logo and further have unique silver stitching. The stitching is also on the door and the leather instrument panel along with the piano black touches on the interior bezels and the carbon fiber.



Infotainment and Connectivity



The new 2023 Chrysler 300c model is equipped with an efficient infotainment system. It is not only efficient but also has an intuitive menu layout with convenient usage. It has a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen displaying showing the android auto interfaces and the apple car play. SiriusXM radio is also presented as having a 1 year trial period. The in-dash navigation is optional. Other features include advanced brake assist, full speed collision warning plus, and lane departure warning plus. These are some of the standard safety features present in the 2023 Chrysler 300c model.



Price


The 2020 Chrysler 300c is completely equipped with the US manufacturer’s recommended retail price(MSRP) of $55,000. The reservations are available at reservation.chrysler.com. You can make your reservation by following a simple three simple step process. You just have to select an exterior color, and a dealer and submit a deposit. If you are looking for V-8, you can go for 300s that have a firmer suspension. The 300c is $21,000 more expensive than the base touring model.
